About this Event

This panel will discuss and answer questions about finding a harmonious middle ground where both accounting and project management departments work together for the overall prosperity of the company.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discover ways of communication between field operations and accounting to assist in a smoother progression towards producing accurate and timely financial statements
  • Learn to recognize hurdles the field faces where accounting can assist and become an asset to field operations while maintaining accounting policies and procedures
  • Insight into various accounting policies and procedures practiced by other accounting offices in relation to field operations
  • Discuss various technological advancements that assist in the effectiveness of accounting and field operations
  • Discuss what types of financial reports are most helpful for field operations

Joseph Riccillo

Riccillo is the El Paso Building Director for Sundt Construction. Riccillo brings more than 15 years of leadership and project management to the board position. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso. He also holds the professional designations of Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute and LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) from the U.S. Green Building Council.

 

Mark Mitchell

Mark is the VP or Operations at Diversified Interiors. Some of his projects of note are Ft Bliss BRAC 2007-2011, SW University Park, Plaza Hotel, Texas Tech Dental School, and Amazon

 

Robert Martinez

Robert has been working for Vemac for 16 years he is currently the VP of Operations. He received his Bachelors of Accounting from University of Phoenix and holds certifications in ACI Flatwork, United States Army Corp of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors, and Various Primavera P3 and P6 training courses. 

 

Rob Ramey, CPA

Rob has been Region 19 ESC, Associate Director of Finance and Human Resources for 17 years. Before that he spent 16 years at Lauterbach Borschow and 10 years shareholder at Robert L. Ramey, PC.
