Tracy Allenbrings 20 years of experience focusing on construction accounting and leads Oregon’s construction industry practice. She provides attest work and consulting services such as cash-flow management, operational reviews, systems and process reviews, and succession planning to her clients. Tracy holds her CCIFP® designation in the construction industry.
She is honored to be an American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Leadership Academy alum. Tracy was named a DJC Women of Vision award recipient in 2017 and taught locally and nationally for various construction associations, including the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).
Joel Dietzman, Principal, Anchor Insurance & Surety, Inc.
Joel Dietzman is an Oregon native, is Vice President at Anchor Insurance & Surety, Inc. in Portland, Oregon. He entered the industry after graduating from Washington & Lee University with a double major in mathematics and economics. He moved to the agency side of the business after working on the insurance company side for 7 years. Joel Dietzman has earned the following industry designations: CPCU, CRIS, AFSB, AIC, SCLA, and FCLA. Joel Dietzman currently serves on the board of the Northwest Utility Contractors Association and was Affiliate Member of the Year in 2014 and 2019; was Education Chair for the Portland Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association and was Associate Member of the Year in 2013 and won the Founders Award in 2015; is a past President of the Surety Association of Oregon; has served on the local Associated General Contractors education committee; and is involved in numerous other construction industry associations including the Associated Builders and Contractors, American Society of Professional Estimators, Safe Build Alliance, Construction Safety Summit, Asphalt and Pavement Association of Oregon, and the National Association of Surety Bond Producers.
Jacob Zahniser, Partner, Miller Nash LLP
For nearly 15 years, Jacob Zahniser has represented owners, contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and design professionals in connection with public and private projects involving schools, infrastructure, industrial, commercial, and residential projects. Jacob’s practice focuses on two areas: construction law and litigation and commercial landlord/tenant disputes. Jacob advises clients on any number of issues that arise during a construction project, from drafting the construction contract, through project close-out, payment, and defect claims.
Jacob frequently advises clients on claim prosecution and avoidance, including change orders, delay/acceleration claims, liens, and liquidated damages. Jacob has considerable experience prosecuting and defending multi-million dollar extra work, delay/acceleration, design defect, differing site conditions, disruption and workmanship claims in state and federal courts and arbitrations.
